PastorsBrian and Lisa White are our pastors. Brian is a Fremont native, graduating from Mission High School right here in Fremont. His mom still lives in his childhood home right off Washington Boulevard by Linda Vista Elementary School. If you ever drive by there with Brian, he’s likely to tell the story about how his dad coached the Linda Vista Lions flag football team he was on back in the early 60s. Football continued to be a big part of his life through all his school years. Brian has a Masters in Divinity from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California and has been on various church staffs focused on youth, young adult, small groups, and evangelism. Lisa is a nice Jewish girl from New Jersey who was a hippie in the 60s. She even went to Woodstock (really!). Bri always says that is why he married her. She has two grown children with families of their own, including five grandchildren! Lisa has been on other Vineyard staffs in the past, including 8 years in Newport Beach, California, focusing on prayer team training and oversight for healing teams and ministry to the poor. Basically, Bri and Lisa both love the Lord, love each other, love their families, love laughing and being goofy, love good food, and love good friends. Most of all they love "doin’ the stuff" Jesus did--telling the Good News to those around them, praying for the sick, healing the brokenhearted, building the Kingdom of God…all with joy and passion! Oh, and of course, they also love "Pippi", their little dog! Come meet them both. They're looking forward to meeting you!
